7 The whole machine was tested by a third party independent laboratory Airmid (Ireland) in a 28.5m3 test chamber pre-set to 20±3C 0 and RH 50±5%. Influenza A (H1N1) was aerosolized in the test chamber and the concentration of the aerosol in the air was monitored for 60 minutes at maximum fan speed. The Dyson purifier achieves 99% efficiency, but real-time efficiency may vary, depending on the current environment and fan speed. Tested on influenza A (H1N1) only.
