The STIHL RMI 422 P iMOW® robotic lawnmower has enough power to maintain medium-sized lawns. The powerful lithium-ion battery allows it to independently care for lawns of up to 1,500 m2 on slopes of up to 40% with just a few charging cycles. In the meantime, you can enjoy your garden.

The STIHL RMI 422 offers you a practical solution for fully automatic and autonomous maintenance of small to medium-sized lawns. The robotic lawnmower cuts, shreds and fertilizes the grass with its mulching device in one working step: When mulching, the grass is only slightly shortened by the iMOW®, so that small grass particles are distributed evenly throughout the grass layer. These valuable nutrients are returned to the soil as fertilizer, which contributes to a dense and healthy lawn.

Built-in sensors signal the self-propelled lawnmower to change direction when it detects an object. The adaptive Slope Speed function adapts the speed on uneven terrain using slope sensors so that the grass is cut evenly even there. In the dynamic mowing plan, you can set time intervals for each day during which your STIHL iMOW® robotic lawnmower can work. Within these active periods, the RMI 422 determines the best time for lawn maintenance. The charging station serves as a parking space and for charging the robotic lawnmower. Setting up and organising the battery-powered robotic lawnmower is very easy via the large LCD display.

PROTECTS AGAINST OBSTACLES AND ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS: If the iMOW® robotic lawnmower hits an obstacle during automatic mowing, the sensors integrated in the movable cover detect the contact with the object on the lawn and initiate a change in direction. Thanks to the robust material from which the cover is made, the iMOW® robotic lawnmower is also well protected against adverse weather conditions.

Mulching device

The sturdy mulching blade of the STIHL iMOW® robotic lawnmower ensures a precisely mowed area, even in taller grass. Its direction of rotation changes automatically every time the blade stops. This ensures that the blades of the robotic lawnmower wear evenly. The mulching blade and the cleaning disc are located in the mulching unit. The blade can be changed without the use of tools.

Moved return to charging station

The factory settings are such that the iMOW® robotic lawnmower returns to the charging station along the boundary wire. If desired, or depending on the characteristics of the outer perimeter of the mowing area, the iMOW® robotic lawnmower can return to its charging station at a different distance from the boundary wire.

CONVENIENT OPERATION. The control console is integrated into the housing of the STIHL iMOW® robotic lawnmower and features a large LCD display. The display is also high-contrast and has a high light intensity, making it easy to read even in sunlight. On models in the RMI 6 series, you can remove it for more convenient operation. Changing settings or recording performance data is particularly easy and intuitive.

POWERFUL EVEN ON SLOPES. With the iMOW® robotic lawnmowers, you can mow even on hilly terrain with the same high quality. And depending on the design, they can even handle steep slopes.

Adaptive Slope Speed

With the Adaptive Slope Speed function, the STIHL iMOW® robotic lawnmower adapts its speed to uneven terrain. The integrated slope sensor constantly analyses the slope of the robotic lawnmower and synchronizes its forward movement.

Dynamic mowing plan

OPTIMIZE YOUR MOWING TIME. With the dynamic mowing plan, you define a time window for each day in which the automatic mower can be active. Your iMOW® robotic mower then independently determines when within this time window to mow the lawn for optimal results. If the mowing process is interrupted, for example due to rain, it automatically catches up with the task within the time window.

Wheels with traction profile

ENSURES PRECISE TRACKING ON THE TERRAIN. These wheels improve the traction of your robotic lawnmower on hilly lawns and in difficult conditions. Whether on slopes, in denser grass or in wet meadows: Thanks to the traction profile of the smooth wheels, your robotic lawnmower moves precisely. The profile wheels with increased cross-country ability are also self-cleaning.
