The Korg Volca NuBass analog bass synthesizer is a compact and powerful instrument that features revolutionary Nutube vacuum tube technology in its oscillator circuit. The model is the first analog synthesizer to feature a new generation Nutube vacuum tube, allowing it to produce a warm, thick, and rich sound unmatched by digital or transistor synthesizers.

The Volca NuBass combines the classic transistor ladder filter with overdrive and powerful distortion, giving it the character of a legendary bass machine. The oscillator offers two types of waveforms - triangle and square wave, and also has a sub-oscillator that operates one octave below the main oscillator. LFO modulation with flexible routing and synchronization expands the sonic possibilities and opens the door to new musical horizons.

The synthesizer is equipped with a 16-step sequencer that supports up to 16 different sequences. The motion sequence function allows you to record knob movements in real time, creating dynamic and lively bass lines. The model has accent, slide, transpose, chain and randomize functions that enrich the creative possibilities when performing and composing.

The Volca NuBass is extremely portable – it runs on batteries and has a built-in mini speaker, making it ideal for playing music anywhere. The MIDI IN connector and sync jack inputs/outputs allow for easy integration with DAW software or connecting multiple Volca devices in sync.
