This multifunctional device is designed to repel a wide range of unwanted animals, from dogs and cats to foxes, weasels and herons, using a combination of three effective methods: a motion detector, powerful ultrasound and a bright LED flash.
How does Garden Protector 4 work?
The device uses intelligent activation technology to ensure maximum efficiency and save energy. The process takes place in several steps:
1. Motion detection: The built-in infrared (PIR) sensor constantly scans the protected area. When it detects animal movement within a range of up to 14 metres, it immediately activates the device.
2. Ultrasonic attack: Immediately after activation, the device emits powerful ultrasonic waves for about 7 seconds. The frequency of these waves is specially tuned to be extremely unpleasant and disturbing to animals' hearing, but is weak or completely inaudible to humans.
3. Visual startle: Simultaneously with the ultrasound, a strong LED flash is triggered, which further scares and disorients the animal, especially at dusk or at night.
4. Result: The combination of unpleasant sound and sudden light makes the animal associate the place with discomfort and danger. Over time, it changes its habits and begins to permanently avoid your property.

The device offers 7 frequency levels (from 1 to 7), which are easily selected with a slider. Lower frequencies (towards 7) cover a larger area, but may be slightly audible to humans too.

Recommendations for installation and use:
1. Power supply: Insert 4 quality "D" type batteries (LR20) or connect the device to the mains with a compatible waterproof adapter.
2. Correct positioning: For maximum effectiveness, mount the device at a height between 10 and 80 cm above the ground (at the level of the target animal). Make sure there are no obstacles (bushes, walls, furniture) in front of the sensor and emitter.
3. Avoid human traffic: Do not point the device at streets or paths with constant movement of people and cars, to avoid unnecessary activations and rapid battery drain.
4. Be patient: The device starts working immediately, but about 2 weeks of continuous operation are needed to permanently change animals' habits.
