Splitting axe on MTX has a forged blade made of high-quality grade 65 steel, and the cutting edge hardness is 50 HRC. It is designed for chopping and splitting firewood.

The blade has high mechanical strength, is not prone to rotting or drying out, and is resistant to aggressive environments. For more efficient and precise log splitting, the back of the head is equipped with an anvil designed for striking with a hammer. Fibreglass handle features a soft rubber pad at the bottom that perfectly absorbs vibrations generated during use without transferring them to the hand.
