BARDAHL ADBLUE 5L

Specifications: AdBlue is a 32.5% aqueous urea solution, developed specifically for diesel engines whose exhaust pipe is equipped with selective catalytic reduction - SCR system. Its use makes it possible to reduce harmful emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and thus to meet the EURO IV, EURO V and EURO VI standards for reducing polluting emissions. Action: After AdBlue is injected into the exhaust gases before the catalyst, the urea contained in the solution produces ammonia (NH3) and carbon dioxide (CO2). The ammonia (NH3) further reacts with the nitrogen oxides (NOx) formed during combustion of diesel fuel. The result of the chemical reaction is harmless nitrogen (N2) and water vapour (H2O). This process is called selective catalytic reduction - SCR. Properties: AdBlue is biodegradable and non-toxic. Colourless and odourless, soluble in water. It crystallises at -11°C, and after thawing all properties are fully restored. AdBlue is produced in accordance with ISO 22241 part 1 and the CEFIC directive. CAUTION! Do not store in direct sunlight.
