This battery is intended mainly for Japanese and Asian car brands whose batteries are manufactured to the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS - Japanese Industrial Standards). The product is not suitable for installation in European car brands. The powerful Bosch battery with EFB technology is developed for the requirements of vehicles with start-stop systems and numerous electrical consumers. Its resistance to deep discharge cycles guarantees reliable starting, even at a lower charge level. Overview of advantages: Longer life and three times greater cycle resistance compared to conventional starter batteries: with EFB technology the positive plate is covered with polyester fabric, which retains additional active material, self-discharge remains low and service life is extended. Reliable starting even when supplying a large number of electrical consumers or after a long standstill: thanks to the special active material on the plates, which reduces internal resistance, and the stabilising polyester fleece insert. Perfect starting power and long life: thanks to the special design and modern grid alloy for reduced corrosion. Completely maintenance-free: thanks to extremely low water consumption resulting from the modern grid alloy, as well as the double cap with labyrinth construction, which returns condensed vapours into the battery. EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery – battery with liquid electrolyte) – the positive plate is covered with polyester fabric. With EFB technology the positive plate is covered with polyester fabric, which holds the active material additionally to the plate. For this reason the cycle resistance of the battery is higher than that of conventional starter batteries. The labyrinth cap returns condensed vapours into the battery. In combination with the modern grid alloy this leads to very low water consumption and makes the battery completely maintenance-free. Ion-permeable separator. Prevents contact between the positive and negative plates and the formation of sediment at the bottom of the battery case, thereby reducing the risk of short circuit – for longer service life and higher starting power. Plate set with stable connections. The central arrangement of the connectors between the positive and negative plates creates additional stability.
