The PIONEER TS-A30S4 car subwoofer is a 30-centimetre component subwoofer from the A-Series with a single voice coil and 4 Ω impedance. It handles 400 W rated and up to 1400 W maximum input power and is mounted in an enclosure of about 35.4 l. A grille is not included in the kit.

IMPP cone for tight, precise bass

The cone is made of polypropylene reinforced with glass fibres and mica. The material stays stable at high sound levels and keeps its shape during long operation in a car, where temperatures and vibrations are high.

400 W rated power at 4 Ω

The single voice coil with 4 Ω impedance connects easily to a monoblock or to a bridged channel of a standard amplifier. Peaks withstand up to 1400 W, which gives headroom for dynamic musical passages.

Mounting in a 35.4 l enclosure with a 281 mm cutout

The basket has an outer diameter of 318 mm and a depth of 136 mm. The recommended volume applies to a sealed enclosure, and the weight of 3.55 kg makes it easier to fix to thin partitions in the trunk.

Flexible surround ring and polycotton spider

The suspension allows a linear travel of about ±8 mm, so the cone moves in a controlled way and reaches around 30 Hz at low frequencies. The ferrite magnet keeps a stable magnetic field during long listening sessions.
