CASTROL DOT 4 brake fluid Specifications SAE J1704 FMVSS DOT 4 4925 Class 4 JASO JIS K2233 Synthetic brake fluid with a high boiling point that exceeds the requirements of car manufacturers. It is suitable for all brake and hydraulic systems with a recommendation for DOT-3 or DOT-4 and especially for those subjected to extreme loads. Compatible with other brake fluids, but to maintain its qualities, this is not recommended. It is changed once every 2 years or according to the car manufacturer's manual. Castrol DOT-4 should not be used in systems with mineral fluid or DOT-5.
