Catan Board Game Expansion: Treasures, Dragons & Explorers

Catan - Treasures, Dragons and Explorers contains additional material for 6 different scenarios that can be played with Catan - Seafarers and/or Catan - Cities and Knights, while the base Catan is needed for all. The scenarios "Desert Dragons", "The Great Catan", "The Great Canal" and "The Enchanted Land" are more complex and have more depth, while players who want something lighter can play the two new scenarios "Treasure Islands" and "Departure into the Unknown". The expansion also offers rich material for players who want to develop their own scenarios or modify existing ones. When playing for up to 6 players, the corresponding 5- and 6-player expansions are needed, for example:
Catan + Seafarers + Catan - 5 and 6 Player Extension + Catan Seafarers - 5 and 6 Player Extension

Regarding the rules:
For all scenarios with the "Seafarers" expansion, the rules of the base game and the "Seafarers" expansion apply. For scenarios played with "Cities and Knights", additional rules also apply. The rules that apply to the combination of "Seafarers" with "Cities and Knights" are described on page 9 of the "Cities and Knights" expansion manual. Where rules deviate, they are noted on the following pages for each scenario.
