Christmas spirit

Betty Hughes keeps up the facade of a rich and famous influencer, even though her bank accounts are empty and her follower count drops with each passing day. And if that weren't enough to discourage her, she has to spend the Christmas holidays with her family, which is a real disaster.

One evening Betty accidentally plays a Christmas hits record backwards, and in front of her materialises Hal – The Spirit of Christmas. The surprisingly charming and enthusiastic man has come from the spirit realms with the sole purpose of lifting her holiday mood. Once the shock wears off, Betty realises the golden opportunity before her – Hal will fulfil all her Christmas wishes.

But when the free designer clothes and the mean tricks against her enemies on social media lose their charm, Betty finds herself touched by Hal's kind gestures and warm gaze. But the happier she becomes, the sooner Hal will have to leave. Can Betty be inspired by the Christmas spirit and learn to live with kindness towards everyone? Or will her selfish attitudes return right after the holidays, together with her loneliness?

From the author of "One for Another," "Christmas Spirit" is a wonderful story about how the holidays change us, and whether we can stay better people after them.
