The 2-port PCI Express USB 3.0 PEXUSB3S24 allows you to add two USB 3.0 ports to your PC system with PCI Express support, with optional SATA power connector for connection to the system power supply and delivery to the USB power supply up to 900 mA to each port Powered devices with 3.0 bus (500 mA for USB 2.0).
The PCIe USB 3.0 adapter is compatible with USB 3.0 standards for data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps while offering backward compatibility with existing USB 2.0/1.1. To increase versatility, the controller card is equipped with a standard profile bracket and includes a low profile/half height bracket for installation in small size computers.

Improved performance with UASP
Enriched with UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol), this USB 3.0 controller works up to 70% faster than conventional USB 3.0 after pairing with external disk enclosures (Note: UASP is not supported by all operating systems). Using a more efficient protocol than the traditional USB BOT (Transport only cumulatively), UASP technology optimizes transfers, allowing simultaneous processing of multiple commands, significantly increasing transfer rates and shortening the waiting time for data transfers.
