  • The Air Safe function is the result of the joint operation of a module composed of UVA LEDs and the convector heater.

Air Safe function

The Air Safe function can be turned on and off by the user from the convector control menu. To work, the convector must be turned on and heating (the set temperature is higher than that of the room). As the heater temperature increases, natural convection of the air in the room begins. Colder air enters through the lower openings of the convector and passes past the UVA LEDs. Thanks to this movement, the molecules of gases, bacteria, micromycetes (fungi) and other microorganisms contained in the air or carried by it are irradiated by the combined effect of the radiation of the UVA LEDs and the infrared radiation of the heater. The continuous passage of the air flow through the convector volume provides enough energy to break the bonds that hold the structure of harmful microorganisms carried by the air. As a result of natural convection, after a certain period of time, the air contained in the room completely passes through the volume of the convector, which leads to a reduction of the bacteria and micromycetes contained therein.
