Daisy Alkyd paint
Durable solvent-based alkyd coating for the decoration of previously primed wooden, metal, and other surfaces, used both outdoors and indoors.
APPLICATION:
The paint is intended for the protection and decoration of wooden and metal objects. It can be used for painting doors, windows, fences, window frames, metal elements, etc.
ADVANTAGES:
• good leveling property, which facilitates application;
• excellent adhesion to surfaces;
• painted surfaces have a silk gloss finish;
• resistant to washing and scrubbing with chemical detergents;
SURFACE REQUIREMENTS:
The surface must be sound, dry, and well-cleaned of dust, grease, and other impurities.
• New wood – impregnation with a wood impregnant is recommended, which penetrates the wood, protects it against pests, and creates a good base for applying a decorative coat.
• Treated wood – old, damaged coatings must be removed, and irregularities filled and smoothed with suitable sandpaper. Previously painted or varnished surfaces are not primed, but only matted with sandpaper before applying the decorative coat.
• Bare metal – it is recommended to apply an Anti-corrosion primer. The primer protects the metal against corrosion and ensures good adhesion for the subsequent decorative coat of paint.
• Treated metal – old, damaged coatings must be cleaned of flakes and rust down to sound material, and irregularities filled and smoothed with sandpaper. Additional treatment of the rust with a preparation is recommended. Previously painted surfaces are not primed, but only lightly matted with sandpaper.
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
The product is stirred very well before use. It is applied in one or two coats with a brush, roller, or paint spray gun. Each subsequent coat is applied after the previous one has completely dried, approximately 12 hours. For the best result, it is recommended to work at a treated surface temperature of about 350°C and relative air humidity of 60%. Do not apply on damp surfaces.
