The sender of this letter is Leonard Cohen, the world-famous composer, poet and singer. The recipient, the Norwegian Marianne Ihlen, his great young love, the muse of his life. And the year is 2016, 44 years after their separation. 44 years in which they did not see each other. Marianne died days after receiving his last declaration of love, and three months later Leonard followed her.

Together in death, and together in their best years.
