The Ricoh Image Scanner fi-8150 is compact and reliable, offering scanning speeds of 50 ppm/100 ipm (200/300 dpi in color mode and A4 portrait).
It is possible to load up to 100 sheets in the ADF for originals of different sizes. The scanner can scan up to 8,000 documents per day. The scanner works with a wide range of document types - from 20gsm to 465gsm, cards or brochures up to 7 mm thick.
It offers several extremely useful functionalities:
- Automatic Separation Control - scanning documents of different formats at once without the need for prior manual sorting.
- The Paper Protection feature on the Ricoh FI8150 scanners is designed to protect documents from damage during scanning. This technology uses Image Monitoring to identify documents that are too tilted or jammed in real time and stops the scanning process before they are damaged. This is especially important for official documents such as passports and others.
-PFU Clear Image Capture is a technology that uses algorithms to prevent color shift and address line distortion caused by creased, folded, or creased paper, compensating for these variations and delivering exceptionally clear images.
