It offers several extremely useful functionalities:
- Automatic Separation Control - scanning documents of different formats at once without the need for prior manual sorting.
- The Paper Protection feature on Ricoh FI8150 scanners is designed to protect documents from damage during scanning.
This technology uses Image Monitoring, which identifies documents that are too tilted or jammed in real time and stops
scanning process before they are damaged. This is especially important for official documents such as passports and others.
- PFU Clear Image Capture is a technology that uses algorithms to prevent color shift and address line distortion,
caused by creased, folded or creased paper, compensating for these variations and delivering exceptionally clear images
- Overscan Control - Automatically adjusts the scan area to prevent image loss on skewed documents, eliminating
the need to rescan them. The device has three precisely positioned sensors that detect the edges of the document and adjust
the scan to an appropriate area to fit the document, even if it is placed at an angle.
