Dodger

Imbued with Terry Pratchett's inimitable sense of humour, the novel "Dodger" recreates Victorian England and introduces us to the seventeen-year-old eponymous hero, who is quite content with his life as a mudlark. However, he enters an entirely new world when he rescues a young girl from a beating, and her fate affects some of the most powerful people in England.

From Dodger's acquaintance with the mad barber Sweeney Todd to his encounters with the great writer Charles Dickens and the calculating politician Benjamin Disraeli, history and fantasy intertwine in an astonishing tale of adventure and mystery.
