ELASTIC WATERPROOFING 15 KG ZERO

MAPELASTIC® AQUADEFENSE is a solvent-free, ready-to-use, extremely fast-drying, single-component light blue synthetic resin in the form of a paste in an aqueous dispersion. MAPELASTIC® AQUADEFENSE is easily applied with a long-pile roller, brush, or trowel onto horizontal, sloped, and vertical surfaces. MAPELASTIC® AQUADEFENSE dries very quickly, forming an elastic coating with a non-tacky surface. It is resistant to light foot traffic 3 hours after application and creates an excellent substrate (bond) for all types of adhesives for installing any ceramic, stone, and mosaic finishes. The elasticity of MAPELASTIC® AQUADEFENSE helps it withstand normal stresses caused by substrate expansion or contraction due to temperature changes and vibration.

For waterproofing layers prior to the installation of ceramic, stone, and mosaic finishes on: balconies and terraces; bathrooms and shower stalls; laundry rooms; saunas and all damp areas. MAPELASTIC® AQUADEFENSE can be applied over: concrete; cement-based screeds and screeds made with special binders (TOPCEM, TOPCEM PRONTO, MAPECEM, OR MAPECEM PRONTO); plasterboard (for indoor applications only); existing ceramic, terrazzo, and stone finishes; cementitious plasters.
