Tikkurila Hole in 1 filler

Ultra-light filler for holes, joints and cracks in walls and ceilings. Particularly suitable for single-pass application. Virtually no shrinkage <5%. For dry interior surfaces. Suitable for treating concrete, plaster, brick and general surfaces of structural timber. Also applicable to previously painted surfaces. The treated surface is easy to sand and paint with normal roller paints. Application thickness without cracking 50 mm.

Drying time:
Applying a second coat or painting the surface can be done after the filler has dried under normal conditions after 2–24 hours. Complete drying in deep holes may take several days depending on layer thickness, temperature and relative air humidity.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Application conditions

The surface to be treated must be dry, the air temperature must be at least +5ºC, and the relative air humidity must be below 80%.

Surface preparation

1. Unpainted surfaces
Remove all dirt, dust and other loose particles from the unpainted surface. Fill the surface directly with HOLE-IN-1. Porous surfaces, such as gypsum fillers, must be primed for better adhesion.

2. Previously painted surfaces:
Wash painted surfaces with Seinäpesu cleaning agent. Let the surface dry before the next treatment. Remove flaking or powdery paint with a scraper and sand glossy surfaces thoroughly to matt. Remove sanding dust.

Application
Apply HOLE-IN-1 with a putty knife. After drying, sand the surface and remove sanding dust. If necessary, apply a new layer of filler. For the smoothest possible surface, apply a finishing varnish over the filler.
