Aquaphor Provence A5 is a new generation water filtration jug with a classic shape inspired by nature. With Provence, you and your family will know that you will have clean and fresh drinking water at all times.

The technology used to create the elegant design of the jug is the same as that used to blow real glass jugs. Moreover, the jug is made of strong, reinforced plastic that is certified for contact with food (it does not contain hazardous plastics such as Bisphenol-A or phthalates, often used in the production of bottled water containers). Due to the round bottom, Provence is much more durable than ordinary filter jugs and is difficult to accidentally tip over. Even if dropped by a child, the jug will not break, making it safe for use in a family with small children.

To always drink clean water, you need to replace the filter in the jug in a timely manner. This is where the mechanical counter on the jug comes to the rescue, which counts the amount of filtered water – every time you open the lid to fill the jug. The replacement date is determined as accurately as possible.

HOW THE AQUAPHOR PROVENCE FILTER WORKS
Activated coconut shell carbon absorbs harmful impurities from tap water like a sponge: chlorine and its compounds, petroleum products, other toxins. It clarifies the water and improves its taste and smell.
Aqualen retains heavy metals from water (mercury, lead, copper, arsenic), which are often found in tap water.
Rust, sand, sediment or other coarse particles do not clog the filter, thanks to the fine activated carbon granules combined with the Aqualen fiber, which creates billions of channels for water, similar to plant roots in the soil. Aqualen holds the activated carbon granules in place and does not allow water to make its own channels through which to pass without being filtered.
Ion exchange resin softens water, removing hardness salts. As a result, dishes and drinks prepared with such water will taste better, as the nutrients will dissolve much more efficiently.
The active silver in the filter prevents the growth of microorganisms in the filter. Therefore, the filter can be used for a longer period of time.
TIPS FOR PROPER USE OF THE JUG AND FILTER
Replace the filter in a timely manner: a jug with an old filter is useless.
In a family of 3, a filter with a capacity of 350 liters is replaced every three months. If you are more, the filter should be replaced proportionally more often. Even if you are less, the filter should not be used for more than 3.5 months, regardless of whether you have used up its capacity.
The filter should be placed tightly and evenly in the funnel - this way, unfiltered water will not get into the bottom of the jug.
We test the reliability of the filters with water with 100 times higher concentrations of harmful substances. Therefore, it can protect you even in extreme situations: if the water is heavily contaminated (for example, after an accident), the filter that has “taken the brunt of the damage” must be replaced immediately.
If the filter has stopped letting water through, it is possible that there are air bubbles in it. This can be easily fixed by soaking it in water in a horizontal position and shaking it to release the air. There are always fine air bubbles in the water, which can increase in size as the water flows through the filter. This is normal, especially during the cold season when the temperature in the rooms is much higher than the temperature of the water in the water supply.
If you are not using the jug, rinse the filter – filter two jugs of water and pour it down the drain.
If you accidentally filled the jug with hot water – rinse the filter, filter two jugs of water again.
