Five Broken Blades (The Broken Blades 1) - hardcover

The King of Yusan Must Die

Five of the most dangerous con artists are summoned to carry out a single task together: they must kill King Jun. The king deserves it. Under the rule of this cruel immortal ruler, the rich thrive while the poor suffer, are thrown into prison or... sold.

So now the blades of five assassins are aimed at Jun. And each of them has a reason: from the hired killer seeking redemption, through the beautiful assassin longing for freedom, to the prince exiled for his cruel crimes. No one can resist the sweet icy lure of revenge.

They may agree on the murder. They may agree on the betrayal. But for these five killers, skilled in deception and lies, an alliance is not enough. To survive, they will have to find a way to trust one another... even though there is only one crown.
