In this standalone game, which is fully compatible with the original Gloom game and its expansions, your goal is an unusual one – you must make the lives of your crew of space explorers as miserable as possible, and then send them to their inevitable doom. Choose your characters from classic sci-fi archetypes such as the Smuggler, the Captain, the Doctor and the Dark Lord, and put them through incredible trials.

Throughout the game, you will use modifier cards on your characters to torment them with various misfortunes, while at the same time trying to make your opponents' characters happy with annoying success and prosperity. The stories become more and more fun and intricate as you tell the other players exactly how your characters got into their respective situations. Thanks to the unique transparent plastic cards that overlap each other, you will easily track the changing misfortune points of your characters.

The game ends when all of your characters have left this world.
