Sage (Salvia) is a perennial, herbaceous plant. It is often used in cooking, herbalism and has anti-inflammatory properties. It can be grown in pots, boxes and used to make a rockery with herbs and spices. The seeds are sown indoors in February - March. Ready plants are transplanted outdoors in April - June. Sage blooms with purple flowers. The harvest is harvested in October - November. It grows well in warm and sunny places. The soil should be permeable and rich in nutrients. The plant does not tolerate overwatering. At normal winter temperatures it can overwinter. It reaches a height of 60 - 70 cm.
