GOURMET SORREL SEEDS

Sorrel (Rumex acetosa) is a perennial, herbaceous plant from the Lapadaceae family. It is low-calorie, slightly acidic, quenches thirst and increases appetite. It can be added to salads, soups and sauces. Sorrel contains oxalic acid, which contributes to its characteristic taste. It is suitable for growing in pots, boxes and outdoors in the vegetable garden. The seeds are sown outdoors from March to August. Ready plants are harvested from May to October. It grows well in sunny places with well-drained soil. Water regularly. To stimulate the formation and growth of richer foliage, remove flower buds before they develop.
