DESCRIPTION

AQUAMAT is a cement-based, coated waterproofing material with:

• Complete resistance to positive
hydrostatic pressure up to 5 atm, according to
EN 12390-8. Also has
resistance to negative pressure.
• Excellent adhesion to concrete substrates,
masonry, screeds and plasters, even when
negative pressure conditions.
• Suitable for drinking water tanks,
as well as for surfaces that are in direct contact
contact with food products, according to W347.
• Protects concrete from carbonation.
• No corrosive effect on steel in
reinforced concrete.
• Easy and economical installation.

ANNEX

It is used for waterproofing concrete elements, brickwork, plasters, in cases ranging from ordinary moisture to pressurized water.
Suitable for waterproofing foundations, basements, water tanks, swimming pools, sewage tanks and
etc. Allows waterproofing of underground areas, as it withstands negative pressure (water from the outside), due to
its excellent adhesion to the substrate. In case the substrate on which the waterproofing will be applied has or is expected to have
cracks, such as terraces, balconies, etc., it is recommended to use two-component, elastic, cementitious
AQUAMAT-FLEX and AQUAMATELASTIC waterproofing.
