JBL Stage 240H Espresso Speakers, Dolby Atmos Module, Pair

The JBL Stage 240H speakers are a pair of compact two-way height channel cabinets for home theater with Dolby Atmos. They sit on top of the Stage 280F and 260F floor-standing models or mount to walls and ceilings, and the Atmos Bypass switch turns them into surround speakers.

Dolby Atmos overhead or surround channel

The Atmos Bypass switch sets the role of each speaker according to the system setup. When placed on top of Stage 280F or 260F, the connection is made through the terminals on the back of the floor-standing speaker, which saves separate cabling to the ceiling.

114 mm ribbed polycellulose woofer

The cone is made of pure wood pulp with additives for higher rigidity, and the ribbed geometry follows classic JBL solutions. The frequency response starts at 85 Hz, leaving the low frequencies to the subwoofer and preserving the clarity of overhead effects.

Next-generation HDI waveguide for precise sound direction

The 25 mm aluminum dome works in a horn with a new complex geometry that reduces diffraction. The response remains neutral even off-axis, so the effects sound the same from anywhere on the couch.

Wall, ceiling, or floor-standing speaker mount

The back features keyhole slots, and the cabinet has a standard 1/4-20 thread for third-party mounts. An anti-slip pad is included to keep the cabinet stable on the floor-standing speaker.

Magnetic grilles and floating front panel

The grilles attach magnetically with no visible holes on the front. The Espresso finish, decorative rings around the drivers, and sturdy 5-way binding posts mirror the look of the rest of the Stage 2 series models and JBL MA receivers.
