Description

Floor-standing speaker

Floor-standing speaker JBL Stage 280F Espresso

Two 8-inch bass drivers and an HDI waveguide for rich sound in a large living room.

The floor-standing speaker JBL Stage 280F Espresso is the flagship of the Stage series, a 2.5-way system with two 8-inch (200 mm) bass drivers and a 1-inch aluminium tweeter. It is sold individually, so you can build a stereo pair or a front channel for a home cinema of your choice. The frequency range 33 Hz – 25 kHz covers the deep bass of films and the air in the highs of music.

Dual 8-inch bass for a cinematic feel at home

Two 8-inch (200 mm) drivers with a poly-cellulose ribbed cone move a lot of air and go down to 33 Hz. The JBL Stage 280F fills large rooms with bass you can feel, without needing a separate subwoofer for every film.

HDI waveguide for clear sound from every seat in the room

The 1-inch (25 mm) anodised aluminium tweeter works within the patented HDI waveguide (High-Definition Imaging, which directs the high frequencies evenly to the listening area). With the JBL Stage 280F, voices and details stay clear even when you are not sitting exactly between the speakers.

Easy connection to an amplifier and Atmos module

The rear panel of the JBL Stage 280F has 5-way binding posts for banana plugs, spade terminals or bare wire, plus separate terminals with a cable guide for the height channel cable. The speaker is compatible with the JBL Stage 240H ATMOS module, which sits on top for a ceiling effect.

Espresso finish with magnetically attached grilles

The cabinet of the JBL Stage 280F has an Espresso wood-veneer finish with a solid-colour front panel and a matching grille. The grilles attach with magnets: remove them for the open-baffle look or refit them for a clean appearance with no visible holes.
