Korg Percussion Synthesizer - Volca Drum, 6-part, DSP, black/gold

The Korg Volca Drum percussion synthesizer is a digital percussion synthesizer with a 6-part DSP synth engine based on analog modeling. It generates a wide range of unique sounds - from realistic drums to eccentric rhythmic tones that are not limited to conventional percussion instruments. The model uses physical modeling through a waveguide resonator effect (tube or strings) that adds rich resonances and brings the sound to life.

The device features a 16-step sequencer with advanced pattern editing capabilities, including a motion sequence function for automating 69 different parameters, an active step function, a slice function for drum rolls, and a 16-level accent control for expressive rhythm creation. Each of the six parts has two layers and imposes no rules or restrictions – you can freely assign your new sounds without being limited by the conventions of a traditional drum kit. The synthesizer stores up to 16 kits in memory, 10 of which are pre-loaded factory kits.

The compact size, battery power and built-in speaker make the device extremely portable – you can take it anywhere and enjoy music on the go. The Volca Drum features a MIDI IN connector, sync jack for synchronization and the ability to connect to other Volca series devices or DAW systems. The aluminum panel and custom high-brightness LCD display ensure durability and excellent visibility in all conditions.
