Description
The Meade Infinity 70 mm AZ is a quality entry-level refractor telescope designed for observing the Moon, some solar system objects, and terrestrial observations. The 70 mm objective lens produces a bright and sharp image, and with this model you will be able to see the polar caps and seas of Mars during opposition, the phases of Venus, the rings of Saturn, and many other celestial objects.
The set includes two eyepieces – the one with a long focal length allows you to cover a large area, while the eyepiece with a short focal length is used for observations at high magnifications. The model is equipped with a red dot viewfinder.
The telescope is mounted on an azimuthal mount, which is easy to use and excellent for visual observations.
You could download the special astronomy software for planetarium from the official website of the manufacturer - AutoStar Suite Astronomer Edition, which will help you study the night sky. The software displays more than 10,000 celestial objects , including planets, stars, galaxies and nebulae. You can print star maps and even plan your observation. It works on any Windows-based computer.
