Miley Cyrus - Something Beautiful (CD)

The international pop star Miley Cyrus, who firmly established her place among the very best with her hit single "Flowers," has announced her ninth music project, titled Something Beautiful. It will be released on 30 May and will include 13 original songs, co-produced with the respected Shawn Everett.

Something Beautiful is not just an album but an artistic and emotional experience, inspired by Pink Floyd's The Wall and the film Mandy (2018). In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, the performer shares that every song was written with the idea of carrying healing power through sound and image:

"Even when the songs speak of pain, a broken heart or loss, they are presented with beauty. In the darkest moments there is light – these are the shadows that give depth to every story."

The cover, presented on 24 March, was shot by fashion photographer Glen Luchford. On it, the performer poses in a vintage outfit from the Thierry Mugler collection (1997) – a visual embodiment of the bold and cinematic aesthetic of the album.

Something Beautiful continues Miley's artistic transformation and follows the enormous success of Endless Summer Vacation (2023) and the leading track "Flowers." The hit brought Cyrus her first GRAMMY awards for "Record of the Year" and "Best Pop Solo Performance."
