Dual Pixel CMOS AF offers an expanded AF area, as well as the world's fastest AF speed of 0.05 seconds for over 4,779 selectable AF positions, along with low-light AF down to -5 EV. The Canon EOS RP features Eye-Tracking AF. This technology helps keep your subject’s eyes in sharp focus when using Face Detection mode, ensuring crystal-clear images in your portraits. Eye-Tracking AF works with the Canon EOS RP in Single-Shot AF, Subject-Tracking AF, and Video-Tracking AF modes, ensuring that both still and moving subjects are captured with their eyes in focus. Touch-and-drag AF makes it easy to change the focus position.
