AMD AM5 Offset Mounting Option - The NM-M1 includes Noctua's AM5 offset mounting plates, which allow the cooler to be installed offset to the south side of the socket by 7mm, thus achieving better contact pressure directly above the Core Complex die(s). This improved contact right at the processor's hot spot can significantly reduce CPU temperatures, with typical improvements in the range of 1-3°C.
