Ocho Nails construction gel is available in 5 shades:
• WHITE – classic, intense white, ideal for French manicure, decorations and precise finishing of the manicure;
• PINK – very light cool pink, which looks beautiful as a delicate manicure or a base for more expressive styles;
• LIGHT PINK – medium raspberry pink, perfect for styles such as baby boomer or French, as well as everyday wear;
• BEIGE – warm peach pink, ideal for natural styles, subtly highlighting the nail plate;
• COVER – medium warm pink with a hint of beige, great as a base for everyday manicure, ensuring an elegant and well-groomed look.
How to correctly extend nails with gel?
1. Before starting the procedure, disinfect your hands and those of the client, and prepare the workspace.
2. Prepare the nail plate – shape it with a file, lightly matte it with a buffer block, clean off the dust and wipe it with a degreaser (cleaner or dehydrator). If needed, you can additionally use an acid-free primer (e.g. Ocho Nails Vitamins) to increase product adhesion.
3. Apply a thin layer of priming base under the gel, rubbing it into the nail plate to fill microcracks. Cure in the lamp for the recommended time.
4. Depending on the chosen nail extension method:
◦ Tips: Place a properly fitted tip and make sure it fits precisely. Apply a layer of construction gel, creating the nail skeleton, and cure it in the lamp. Wipe off the dispersion layer, shape the skeleton with a file, then apply the next layer of gel, levelling the surface with a thin brush. Cure in the lamp for min. 60 seconds.
◦ Dual forms: Fill the dual form with construction gel and press it carefully onto the nail plate. Cure in the lamp for min. 60 seconds. After curing, remove the form and shape the nail with a file.
5. Finish the styling – give the nails their final shape with a file and level the surface with a buffer block.
6. Apply the chosen top coat and cure it in the lamp. For a better effect and cuticle care, apply oil.
