Folding knife Opinel Outdoor Junior is ideal for young adventurers and athletes who love camping, camping trips, swimming and other similar outdoor activities. The handle withstands high temperatures and water and has a built-in whistle. The blade is rounded for additional safety. It is ideal for children aged 7 to 12.

Stainless steel with a hardness 55-57 HRC, used in the blades is a grade optimised to guarantee both high corrosion resistance and high mechanical performance. The advantage of stainless steel is that it does not require special maintenance under normal conditions of use. However, it is recommended to avoid contact with aggressive environments (acid, salt water, cleaning products, etc.).

Invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955, the safety ring Virobloc is fitted to all folding knives from No. 6 onwards. It has two sections - one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade in the open position (safety during use), it is now possible to lock the blade in the closed position (safety during transport).
