APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Application conditions
The surface to be painted must be dry, the ambient temperature must be at least +8°C, and the relative humidity below 80%. Low temperature (approximately +15°C) and higher humidity (50-70% relative humidity) will extend the open time of the primer and facilitate application.
Surface preparation
Previously painted surfaces: Wash the surface with a cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly with water. Matt the surface by sanding. Remove sanding dust.
Painting
Stir Otex Akva thoroughly before use and thin with water if necessary. Apply with a brush, roller, pad, or by spraying. For large surfaces, it is recommended to first apply the primer with a furniture paint roller, for example, then level with a brush. We recommend using synthetic brushes with split ends.
