100 W per channel and Bluetooth — all your music from your phone through a true Hi-Fi system.
The Yamaha R-S202D receiver is a two-channel stereo Hi-Fi receiver with a built-in amplifier, radio tuner, and Bluetooth. You connect a pair of speakers to it and listen to music from a smartphone, tablet, CD player, or radio. The terminals for two sets of speakers allow for sound in two zones — for example, the living room and the kitchen.
Yamaha R-S202D delivers 100 W per channel at 8 ohms — power with which the receiver confidently drives floorstanding and bookshelf speakers and keeps the sound clean even at high levels. The circuit design shortens the signal path and places the transformer close to the amplifier stage, which provides a stable power supply during dynamic peaks in the music.
The built-in Bluetooth of the Yamaha R-S202D receiver connects a smartphone or tablet in seconds — you choose songs from the phone screen, and the sound comes out through the speakers. It's convenient for guests, playlists, and streaming services without moving cables.
The terminals for two speaker systems and the front panel selector of the Yamaha R-S202D allow you to listen through set A, set B, or both together. Thus, you can sonorize two rooms and switch between them with a single button.
The front panel of the Yamaha R-S202D features a hairline finish (fine satin metal pattern) and large knobs for volume and source selection — operation is clear from the first time. An infrared remote control is included in the package, and the headphone output allows for quiet listening in the evening.
The power management function puts the Yamaha R-S202D receiver into standby mode after 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours of inactivity — optionally. Standby consumption is 0.5 W, which saves electricity when the unit remains on for weeks.
