Description

The Detroit variety is a biennial plant (the first year the main root is formed, the second the flower stem is formed). Forms globular, medium-sized root crops with a dark red fleshy part. Its fruits are healthy, smooth and highly nutritious. Salad beet should be sown in two or three-row strips with a distance of 50 cm between the strips and 25 cm between the rows. The seed sowing depth is on average about 3 cm.
