Description
The Fischer TherMax 12 remote insulation system is a solution for fixing to external walls without a thermal bridge in ETICS. It consists of a special anchor rod made of galvanised steel with a glass-fibre-reinforced cone, threaded pins and anchor sleeves for fixing into perforated bricks. In combination with the Fischer FIS EM Plus, FIS V Plus and FIS SB injection mortars, the system is approved for various building materials. The glass-fibre-reinforced cone anchor rod passes through the plaster of the insulation. The anchor rod is fixed in the anchor sleeve with injection mortar in the building material. The cone at the tip of the anchor rod creates a thermal barrier and holds the stainless steel threaded pin for external fixing. TherMax fixes heavy loads such as awnings, air-conditioning units and satellite systems to concrete, aerated concrete and masonry of solid and perforated bricks. TherMax 12 is suitable for pre-positioned installation. The self-cutting, glass-fibre-reinforced cone passes through the plaster of the insulation during installation. The cold-protection cone uses a thermal barrier to minimise heat loss.
For resistant plaster (e.g. thick cement plaster), it is recommended to use the TherMax cutting blade included in the kit to grind the plaster.
