Variety Marketmore is a salad garden cucumber. The fruits are 18-20cm long, slightly pimpled. Excellent taste and very good yield. It is tolerant to common cucumber mosaic, slightly sensitive to powdery mildew, is not affected by sudden temperature changes. Suitable for growing in polyethylene greenhouses and outdoors. It prefers aerated, quickly warming soils and places protected from the wind. It needs regular watering and feeding with nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
