The TerraMaster F2-425 Plus NAS file server is a high-performance NAS solution for home users, advanced users and small businesses. The device is equipped with a quad-core Intel N150 processor with a clock speed of up to 3.6 GHz, 8 GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory and two 5GbE network ports for very fast data transfer. The design includes 2 SATA drive bays and 3 M.2 NVMe slots, which allows the storage capacity to be expanded up to 84 TB. The server supports hardware-accelerated decoding and transcoding of video content up to 4K at 60 fps, enables creating a personal cloud without a subscription, and offers advanced features for backup, remote access and data protection.

TerraMaster F2-425 Plus is designed for users who expect fast file access and stable operation around the clock. In addition, the device is equipped with three M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 slots, each of which supports drives with capacity up to 8 TB. Together this allows creating a data storage environment with capacity up to 84 TB. Support for multiple RAID modes allows the configuration to be tailored to your specific security and performance requirements, and the hot-swap feature lets you replace drives without turning off the device.

Personal cloud and intelligent photo management

The TNAS system lets you create your own personal cloud, accessible from anywhere in the world. Photos and files remain under the full control of the user, without the need for external subscription services. Built-in artificial intelligence algorithms run locally on the device and help automatically organise photos by people, animals, objects or landscapes. This makes searching for specific photos much faster, while preserving data privacy.

The server offers a wide range of features for protecting data from loss. It supports Snapshot, CloudSync, Time Machine, Rsync, USB Backup and TerraMaster's own backup solutions.
