SIKA CERAM 215 TILE ADHESIVE

DESCRIPTION

High-quality cementitious polymer-modified adhesive for floor or wall ceramic tiles, for indoor and outdoor use, with slip resistance. Class C2T according to EN 12004

SikaCeram®-215 is a ready-to-use cementitious mixture containing polymers and selected silica/quartz mineral fillers and special additives.
It is suitable for bonding ceramic tiles on vertical and horizontal, interior and exterior surfaces.

ANNEX

SikaCeram®-215 is used for bonding ceramic tiles in layers up to 10mm thick. It is suitable for bonding the following types of flooring:
Ceramic tiles, non-absorbent ceramics, porcelain tiles, natural stone (if it is not sensitive to water), clinker tiles.
Any type of ceramic tiles with high and low absorption.

SikaCeram®-215 can be used on the following surfaces:

• Concrete, mortars and plasterboard
• Brick, mortar
• Suitable for laying tiles with underfloor heating
• Bonding over existing ceramic tiles, indoors
• Suitable for laying tiles in indoor pools
• Suitable for laying tiles on floors subject to high loads
• Externally and internally on horizontal and vertical surfaces

EXPENDITURE RATE

The consumption rate depends on the type and roughness of the substrate, as well as the size of the tiles and the application method (standard or double
(on the base and on the back of the tile).

Approximate consumption in kilograms of powder product per m2:

Small tiles - notched trowel: 6 mm ~ 2 - 3 kg/m2
Standard tiles (20x20cm – 40x40cm) - notched trowel: 8 mm ~ 3 - 4 kg/m2
Large format tiles and double application of adhesive - notched trowel: 10 mm ~ 4 - 5 kg/m2
