Description
Netsupport DNA Corporate Edition Pack A Software - IT Asset Management and Control Software
NetSupport DNA provides a full range of features that support the management and maintenance of IT assets (hardware and software).
Package of 25 licenses
The software enables IT professionals to have a complete picture of an organization's IT assets, control and manage them, as well as the sites associated with them.
The software includes:
Automatic detection
The IT administrator receives a notification for each new device on the network, identifies it, and decides whether to automatically add it or not.
Inventory of available hardware
A wealth of information is collected from every device on the network, from processor types and BIOS to network, video, and storage information.
Inventory reports are displayed for an individual computer, a selected department, "dynamic groups" based on conditions, or for the entire enterprise.
Options for entering into rental agreements and maintenance contracts related to devices and peripherals are also available.
There is an option to include devices that are off-network or mobile in the reports, and high-value peripherals can also be added.
SNMP scanning
SNMP Discover allows DNA to be configured to scan a range of network addresses and their associated network devices, such as printers and access points, store this information, and monitor and analyze it in real time.
Print monitoring
Using SNMP analysis, printing costs can be set for each device on the network and its usage can be monitored. It can be turned off when ink or toner runs out or when the set monthly volume is exceeded, for example, and then turned on again.
Inventory of available software
The software module provides a summary of all programs and applications installed on individual devices, including those for Windows 7/8/10. It will help the school manage license compliance and reduce license overages.
NetSupport DNA can display information for a selected computer, department or custom group and has an extensive module for determining and tracking license usage.
Using the software
This module reports all applications used on each computer or server, indicating the time the application was started and completed, as well as the actual time it was active.
Using application monitoring ensures that software licenses are assigned to the right users and are not renewed for users if they are not active, which provides an opportunity for cost savings.
Application usage can also be restricted. Lists are made of approved applications, the time of their use, and those that are rarely used and can be restricted.
Using the Internet
The module provides a detailed summary of all internet activity on each computer by user, including the start and end time for each URL visited and the active time spent on a given page. The results can be viewed either by activity on a specific device or by user, no matter where they are working. Naturally, the key to maintaining an effective policy is ensuring effective control. With NetSupport DNA, internet usage can be fully managed - and lists of approved and restricted URLs and/or sub-URLs can be applied
Warning module
NetSupport DNA features an extremely powerful alerting module that prompts the system to automatically notify operators when a change or problem occurs
There are two types of warnings: System and personal.
System alerts identify any changes to data collected by NetSupport DNA across the school, such as new computers added, hardware changes, etc.
Custom alerts detect real-time changes or conditions that occur on a specific computer, such as free disk space falling below XX%, a virus, etc.
Mobile application
The NetSupport DNA mobile app allows an IT administrator, when away from their desk, to see detailed hardware and software for every computer on the school network. The mobile app also includes a QR code scanner to instantly identify each computer, either from the QR code displayed on the screen by DNA or from a label attached to the device if they are identified in this way.
GDPR module
Netsupport DNA contains a set of tools to help companies meet the requirements of GDPR/ the law on personal data protection/ at no additional cost. The software allows you to mark GDPR relevant files and information, which can subsequently be tracked and identified. In addition, personnel data can be archived, as well as to remove all history related to an individual stored in NetSupport DNA.
Module for multi-installation of software products
NetSupport DNA provides an option for automatic multi-installation of software products.
Parameters are created for given files or folders and using the module, the automatic settings for the group are recorded and through keystrokes and mouse clicks, a test installation is performed and its automatic distribution to other computers remotely over the network.
NetSupport DNA has a scheduling feature that allows the software to be installed at a specific date and time - usually outside of a small window.
Energy monitoring module
The energy monitoring module provides a simple and concise summary list of potential energy losses in a school through computer systems that remain switched on outside of working hours.
They can be set to automatically shut down at a certain time at the end of each day and then turn back on - all at once or in stages - the next morning. Additionally, "inactivity policies" can be implemented to allow for rules to be enforced for systems to sleep, log out, or shut down if they have been inactive for a certain period of time.
Module for using and managing USB sticks
The use of USB sticks can be controlled and allowed only for individual computers - access can be full, completely blocked, read-only, or applications can be prohibited from running from it.
Additionally, the date and time for the use of the flash drives or their prohibition can be specified, as well as the time can be indefinite.
