SUBSTRATE FOR FORMS FOR SEEDLINGS

Seedling trays are a necessary product in the production of seedlings in trays. Due to their universal size, they are suitable for almost all plastic seedling trays. They are lightweight and can be stored nested inside one another to save space, while also being sturdy and can be used for several seasons, more than 2 for sure.

It is recommended to disinfect them before use each season (you can find ways to disinfect equipment here) to prevent the transfer of possible diseases or pests from the previous season.

Using a tray creates very good conditions for growing seedlings: the plants are in separate cells and do not interfere with each other's growth; the risk of damaging the roots or plants during sowing is eliminated; it is much easier to separate the plants when transplanting them into larger containers or planting them in the garden.
