TP-Link Omada SG6654X Managed Switch is a professional L3 network solution designed for small and medium-sized businesses, corporate networks and ISPs. The model features 48 Gigabit RJ45 ports and 6 10 Gbps SFP+ slots, providing a switching capacity of 216 Gbps per device. It supports physical stacking of up to 4 units with a total switching capacity of up to 864 Gbps, ensuring scalability and built-in redundancy for critical business applications.
The switch offers a rich set of Layer 3 routing protocols, including Static Routing, RIP, OSPF, ECMP, VRRP, DHCP Server and DHCP Relay, which provide a flexible and scalable network architecture. Support for PIM-DM and PIM-SM multicast protocols ensures efficient routing for multicast groups. Integrated high availability features include two built-in redundant power modules, VRRP for virtual router redundancy and ERPS for fast protection and recovery in a ring topology.
Network security is ensured through advanced features such as ACL support (IPv4 and IPv6), Dynamic ARP Inspection, IEEE 802.1X authentication, MAB (MAC-based Authentication), Port Security and Secure Shell (SSH). The model supports up to 4K VLAN groups, advanced QoS with 8 priority queues, IGMP/MLD Snooping and Link Aggregation (Static and LACP). Spanning Tree protocols STP, RSTP and MSTP provide additional network stability.
Centralized management is provided by the Omada SDN controller with Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP), which facilitates mass deployment and configuration. Alternatively, the device can be managed independently via a web-based interface, CLI, SNMP, RMON, SSH or Telnet. The switch features 1 RJ45 Management port, 1 RJ45 Console port, 1 USB Type-C Console port and 2 USB 2.0 ports for flexible configuration and maintenance options.
