Description
Advantages of TORNADO 34B C 2KG CO2 Carbon dioxide fire extinguisher. They are intended for extinguishing various materials (except substances whose combustion occurs without access to oxygen). Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers can be used to extinguish electrical installations with voltage up to 1000 V, liquid and gaseous substances. The operation of this fire extinguisher is based on pressurised liquefied carbon dioxide. When the valve is opened, the substance is released outward. As a result of expansion, the temperature of the carbon dioxide drops significantly (to -70 degrees) and it passes from a liquid state into a solid (snow-like) state at the moment it enters the horn from the siphon tube. This type of fire extinguisher is the most widespread and is used both in public buildings (museums, art galleries, etc.) and in office premises (due to the ability to extinguish electrical appliances and office equipment), in vehicles of various types, and also in households. Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers are not suitable for extinguishing burning alkali metals, whose combustion can proceed without access to oxygen, and also for extinguishing wood and high-voltage installations. Among the disadvantages we can mention the significant reduction in snow-formation efficiency when the ambient air temperature drops, due to the decrease in pressure of the dispersing carbon dioxide, as well as the probability of a toxic effect of carbon monoxide on people during prolonged use of the fire extinguisher.

Purpose
Fire extinguishers are intended for extinguishing ignitions and/or initial fires of solid materials, flammable and combustible liquids, gaseous substances and electrical installations under voltage up to 1000V in accordance with the technical specifications of the products.
Field of application
For equipping buildings (residential, public, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and with mass gathering of people, and others), facilities, installations, vehicles, agricultural machinery and others.
General design and principle of operation
All fire extinguishers consist of an extinguishing agent, a metal cylinder for its storage, an expellant gas, a valve with a safety valve, a pressure gauge (for type H fire extinguishers), a hose or nozzle gun for directing the jet, a label according to the BDS EN3 template, a seal and accessories. Fire extinguishers operate on the principle of expelling the extinguishing agent toward the seat of the fire under the action of the expellant gas.
Operating instructions
To use powder, water, water-foam and CO2 fire extinguishers, break the seal and pull out the safety pin. Direct the hose or gun at the seat of the fire and press or turn (depending on the design) the valve handle. For fire extinguishers with a gun, press the gun handle.
Packaging and storage
Fire extinguishers are packed in paper or polyethylene packaging and stored in them in dry, well-ventilated rooms protected from direct sunlight, at a temperature from +5 C to +30 C.
