TWO-COMPONENT WATERPROOFING 288A

PLANISEAL 288 is a two-component cementitious mortar based on cementitious binders, selected aggregates, special additives and synthetic polymers in aqueous dispersion according to a formula developed in the research laboratories of MAPEI. When the two components are mixed together, they form a liquid mixture that can be applied with a trowel or brush. It has very strong adhesion to the substrate and guarantees excellent waterproofing of the element, including in the presence of water up to 1.5 bar pressure. PLANISEAL 288 complies with the principles defined in EN 1504-9 ("Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures: definitions, requirements, quality control and evaluation of conformity. General principles for the use of products and systems" and with the requirements of EN 1504-2 coating (c) according to the principles MC and IR ("Surface protection systems for concrete").

For waterproofing: interior and exterior surfaces of underground masonry and reinforced concrete structures (up to a maximum of 1.5 bar pressure); lift shafts; decorative ponds and pools; storage tanks and tanks of general type; balconies and small cantilevered pedestrian areas.
