CS 24 Universal Silicone

CS 24 Universal Silicone is an elastic silicone sealant for universal use indoors and outdoors. Suitable for sealing glass windows and doors, glass bathtubs, sinks, for grouting ceramic coatings on walls and floors. For indoor and outdoor use. Excellent adhesion to glass, porcelain, ceramic tiles, anodized aluminum, rigid PVC.

Usage:
The temperature of the silicone during operation should be at least +20°C. It is recommended to grout at an ambient temperature between +5°C and +40°C. At temperatures lower than +5°C, use only if there is no condensation, snow or ice on the walls of the joint. The surface must be clean and dry. Clean oily surfaces with acetone. White spirit can be used to clean metal surfaces. If there is old sealant in the joint, remove it. Non-porous surfaces may not be primed. Cut the tip of the bottle at an angle and screw the nozzle onto it. Place the bottle in the silicone gun. Apply the material tightly into the joint. Smooth the silicone with a damp spatula or other suitable tool. The silicone surface will not stick after about 15 minutes. Ceresit Silikon Universal cannot be painted/varnished because it is elastic. Tools and soiled surfaces can be cleaned with white spirit before the material has fully hardened.

STORAGE:
Store in a cool, dry place in an unopened bottle.
